Maxine Waters: I’ve Been Sent by God to Stop Trump

On Sunday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) gave a bizarre speech at the First AME Church in Los Angeles and told parishioner that God has sent her to take on President Donald Trump.

She said that the President wasn’t trying to “make America great again” but rather was intent on “taking America down.”

Waters even accused members of Congress of “trying to intimidate me.” “I know there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress,” she said.

Despite criticism from Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who said that she shouldn’t be encouraging people to harass Trump officials in the streets, Waters said she wouldn’t be backing down from resisting the Trump administration. “I’ve said that we can walk and chew gum at the same time,” she said.

From American Mirror:

Waters said there is “an attempt to intimidate, an attempt to frighten, an attempt to make you go away and shut up and be quiet.

“I don’t know shut up!” she said to thunderous cheers. “I don’t know intimidation. I don’t know fear.”

She counseled her audience, “Don’t you worry about those who are threatening. Don’t you worry about those who are talking about they’re gonna shoot. I know some of you got a little worried when I said to them, ‘If you’re gonna shoot me you better shoot straight.’

“There’s nothing like a wounded animal.”

Waters claimed the Russians hacked into the “state election system” intent on getting Trump elected. That’s deceptive, no voting systems were hacked into. But she doesn’t say that.

She then goes on to say he was elected not with the popular vote but with the vote of the Electoral College, failing to note that’s how every president is voted in, with the vote of the Electoral College, not the popular vote.

She also lied during her speech saying Trump was intent upon lifting sanctions on Russia. In fact, he put on more sanctions and has kicked out their diplomats. There is no indication that he intends to stop any sanctions.

She concluded her remarks saying she’d be sent by God to fight Trump.

“You’ve gotta know that I’m here to do the work that I was sent to do, and as pastor said to me when I came in this morning, when God sends you to do something, you just do it!

“So I have a message I’m going back to Washington tomorrow morning, I’m going to tell them pastor told me to come here and just do it!”

The pastor then embraced Waters amid wild applause.

Here’s guessing it wasn’t God inspiring her to deceive those parishioners.

She needs to get some help, she’s clearly losing it.
