Parkland anti-gun activist David Hogg must be tired that he’s dropped out of the limelight.
And he claims to hate violence.
But he apparently wanted to get his name back in the news again.
From Daily Wire:
But the anti-NRA student who has relentlessly sought fame since surviving the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School in Parkland, Florida, isn’t above, say, threatening the president of the United States.
“To US President Trump: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!” Hogg wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Hogg was trying to mirror a tweet from President Donald Trump.
“To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!”
Of course, the difference was that Trump was responding to the threat of “mother of all wars” from Iranian president Hasson Rouhani, in defense of the United States.
Hogg, on the other hand, was trying to be a wise ass and was threatening the president. Not a smart move.
As one Twitter user informed him, it’s illegal to threaten the president and young Hogg is likely to get a visit from the Secret Service for his efforts.
The left was hyperventilating with Trump’s tweet yesterday, reporting him to Twitter and kvelling that he was “threatening people.” Strange they had a problem with him, but no problem with the threat of the Iranian president against the United States.
But everything must be suborned to the left’s Trump Derangement Syndrome, even defense of the United States.
And apparently, many of them liked Hogg’s threatening the president since it has gotten close to 63,000 likes. That’s really pretty sick and that’s the kind of thing that can set off a crazy person.
And yes, that’s from his account, apparently an endorsement.
